WHAT’S THE ROLE OF NETWORKING AT WOLVES SUMMIT?

We treat networking very seriously at Wolves Summit.  We draw attention of the right people so that they can meet in one place and save time. We’re working on tools and use your feedback to do it even more efficiently. 1:1 meetings play a special role. There have been 29364 of them since the first edition.

HOW DO I CONNECT WITH INVESTORS?

As a qualified startup, you will be given access to the Matchmaking Tool. The Tool lets you schedule virtual meetings with participants before the conference. All the attendees will be provided with more detailed instruction regarding how to connect and meet online via email.

WHAT’S THE MATCHMAKING TOOL FOR?

Matchmaking Tool is an application available exclusively for startups, investors and corporates and executives. This is the exquisite networking platform used for matchmaking you with people according to your profiles and setting up speed dates with them. You can also use different filters and request meetings with all Wolves Summit VIPs.

29364 1:1 meetings took place thanks to the application so far. You will get access to the tool 2 weeks before the conference. The application is available until the end of the conference.

WE HAVE TWO PEOPLE IN OUR STARTUP TEAM AND THE SECOND PERSON HASN'T RECEIVED ACCESS TO THE MATCHMAKING SYSTEM.

Access to the matchmaking tool for Startups is granted per company, to the main person from the team by default, whose email was entered in the application form. You can share internally the access between relevant team members.

WHAT IS THE GREAT PITCH?

The Great Pitch is a pitching challenge for 50 qualified startups and scaleups.

WHAT ARE THE STEPS TO FOLLOW IN ORDER TO TAKE PART IN THE CHALLENGE?

Firstly, you need to go through a qualification phase. Each startup applying for Wolves Summit that stated the willingness to participate in the Great Pitch is also applying for the pitching challenge. The complete information about your startup, which you gave us, will help us decide whether you made it to the conference. During the recruitment process, you can provide a link to your video pitch or a presentation.

After receiving an invitation to join and confirming your attendance, out of all confirmed startups we’ll choose and inform the qualified startups about the participation in the Great Pitch 3 weeks before the conference.

WHEN DOES THE GREAT PITCH START?

The contest starts on 24th March 2020. The finals are on 25th March 2020.

WHEN WILL I KNOW THE TIME OF MY PITCH?

You will be informed about the time of your pitch prior to the event. All semi-final pitches will take place on 24th March 2020.

HOW WILL THE GREAT PITCH CONTEST TAKE PLACE?

Through the Hopin.to platform. There are two stages - Startup Stage and Main Stage. To be present on the Startup stage as a pitching startup, you will be given access to the virtual backstage platform which you can enter 10 minutes before your pitching slot. Also, you’ll have a chance to talk with the MC and prepare a screen-share before the pitch starts. Then you will click the button ‘Go live’ and within 5-10 seconds you’ll be live. Please note: you will have 3 minutes to pitch and 4 minutes to answer the Jury’s questions.

DOES EVERY STARTUP QUALIFY FOR THE PITCHING COMPETITION?

No. Only 50 selected startups and scaleups will be given a chance to pitch in the Great Pitch challenge. All qualified startups, however, can participate in matchmaking and meet investors and corporations.

HOW LONG IS THE PITCH?

Each startup’s presentation in the Great Pitch consists of two parts:

  • Presentation - max 3 minutes
  • Questions from the jury - 4 minutes

CAN MORE THAN ONE PERSON MAKE A PRESENTATION?

Yes, two people may present their startup on stage, however, you must let us know prior to the event.

WHAT IS A PITCH DECK?

During the application process, we’ll ask you to attach a sales deck/pitch desk. Participating investors and corporations get access to it. It doesn’t have to be a presentation you’ll want to use during the Great Pitch challenge. Treat them separately. If your startup’s qualified for the challenge, we’ll ask you to send your presentation. Failing to deliver it on time means you’ll have to make your presentation without it.

WHAT SHOULD BE THE FORMAT OF THE PRESENTATION?

Power Point and PDF formats are accepted. You stream the presentation using the share screen option at Hopin.to so it must work smoothly on the device you'll use to connect with us during the Contest.

WHAT ARE THE PITCHING EVALUATION CRITERIA?

A jury of investors and industry experts will evaluate each pitch. The evaluation will be based on your team, product, its potential, the competence of your team and investment readiness.

HOW DO I ENTER E-NETWORKING EVENT ON 24/03?
