The 10th Wolves Summit Sum Up

The tenth edition of Wolves Summit is behind us. Almost 400 startups and scaleups, 200 investors, in total almost 1,500 participants met once again at the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw. The October edition is dedicated to the topics of the digital economy, AI development, innovations in the CEE market and the accessibility of the tech industry to everyone.

Almost 400 startups and scaleups, 200 investors, 2800 one-on-one meetings, a total of almost 1500 participants met once again at the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw at Wolves Summit, an international technology and business conference. During the tenth edition of the conference, topics such as the future of medicine, the use of artificial intelligence in business creation and the startup scene in Central and Eastern Europe were discussed. During the conference there is also a competition for the Great Pitch startups, which this year won the Pynk startup.

During the two days of Wolves Summit, conference participants held over 2,800 one-to-one meetings. Thanks to these meetings, startups, entrepreneurs and investors can effectively and quickly establish valuable business relationships. - Looking at this from the point of view of the fund-raising startup, Wolves Summit is the perfect place. Technology, equality, innovation

Wolves Summit is not about only effective networking. A number of discussion panels and workshops take place during the conference. Experts talked about technological and business trends as well as innovation forecasts for the coming years. Wolves Summit agenda also reached the topics of development of the digital economy, the diversity and accessibility in the technology industry, and development of innovation in Central and Eastern Europe. On the main stage we could see Ruthy Kaidar from Microsoft, Floyd Woodrow, chairman of Quantum Financial Holdings and Ludwik Sobolewski, president of Emerging Europe Marketplace.

 

Since this year, the conference has been cooperating, among others with BalansPL and Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit to further support equality initiatives.

 

The tenth edition of Wolves Summit was co-organized by the Capital City of Warsaw, the strategic partner of the conference is the British Embassy in Warsaw.

Daato secures 5 million euros in seed financing round

Berlin-based Daato, a pioneer in ESG management, announces that it has secured over €5 million in a seed funding round. This investment will enable the startup to advance its mission to make ESG management efficient for all companies. Bulgaria launches renewables-plus-storage tenders

Bulgarian businesses can apply for funding under two new tenders that aim to facilitate 1,425 MW of renewable energy generation capacity coupled with 350 MW of energy storage. Funding support is only offered for the storage component. The Bulgarian Ministry of Energy has launched two renewables-plus-storage tenders to the tune of BGN 535 million ($298 million), accepting bids from companies in all sectors except agriculture, forestry, and fishery. The first tender, with a total budget of BGN 107.6 million, will finance the construction of solar and wind projects and co-located energy storage facilities with installed capacities between 200 kW and 2 MW. The procedure seeks to facilitate the development of at least 200 MW of renewable energy production and 100 MW of energy storage. The second procurement exercise, with a budget of BGN 427.5 million, will support new solar and wind projects and energy storage facilities with a total installed capacity of more than 200 kW.
